When you’re searching for a trendy casual area in Dallas, the best place to go to is Deep Ellum. This Dallas neighborhood is filled with fantastic bars, shops, live music, etc… But today my main focus was BRUNCH!

After searching Yelp, Instagram, and a few other sites I narrowed down my list and chose the one and only Anvil Pub.

If you have never been and you live in the area you probably have seen your friends post pictures about this place with their mimosas and what seems like a castle of snacks coming out of them. So naturally I had to try this place out for myself.

I heard Anvil Pub gets packed very quickly, so I made sure to arrive right at open (11am). The people inside were very trendy and friendly and it tied in with the overall vibes of the restaurant. The menu was very entertaining with interesting names for the different meal items and even though each option sounded delicious, I knew I had to do the famous mimosa and I was pleased I did…

because when this 32oz. beauty came out I was in brunch HEAVEN! My original thought glancing at the menu was, ” this is not enough mimosa.” But I quickly realized I was wrong once this brunch unicorn made its way to my table. I had never seen anything like it.

The mimosa was the perfect blend of orange juice and champagne, not to mention the skewers which included a breakfast sandwich, lemon donut hole, tater tots, and fresh fruit Very light, but equally delicious.

Overall, not sure if this is my absolute favorite place, but I would definitely come back to explore the rest of the menu. So if you want to have a visually unique brunch, I would highly recommend Anvil Pub.

Stay tuned for next weekends spot!

Happy Brunching!

❤ Justin
